Overweg Trucking Ltd. is hiring a Livestock Dispatcher
We are a professional trucking company located in Coaldale, AB that specializes in hauling livestock across Canada and USA.
Schedule:
● Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, on call evenings, weekends – rotation basis
● Possibility of some Saturday mornings during busy seasons.
Key Responsibilities:
● Answer phones, booking loads, creating schedules
● Maintain spreadsheets
● Learning/working with our dispatch software
● Develop existing and new customer relationships
Experience:
● Previous livestock dispatch experience preferred
● Experience in trucking industry
● Excellent communication and planning skills
● Proficiency in computer applications
● Strong attention to detail
● Teamwork skills that support a team-based operation
● Excels in fast-paced environment
● Ability to multitask
