The Business Improvement Loan Program with Lethbridge Community Futures provides loans to make small improvements to your business. An attractive business front means a lot to customers. You’d be amazed what fresh paint, great window dressing and new landscaping can do to help improve your bottom line. Through a partnership with the Town of Coaldale, funds are available to cover the interest on these loans of up to $25,000. No other municipality in the region provides a loan program of this value, or covering this wide a range of possible improvements!

RINSA
The Regional Innovation Network of Southern Alberta
The Regional Innovation Network of Southern Alberta (RINSA) was formed in 2011 as a collaborative partnership between Alberta Innovates with Economic Development Lethbridge/Tecconnect, Lethbridge College, and the University of Lethbridge. It has since grown to over 14 member organizations.
In 2023, Economic Development Lethbridge partnered with Innovate Calgary to initiate the launch of the Elevate IP program to ensure rural/remote and under-represented entrepreneurs such as Indigenous and Newcomers across Alberta have access to IP strategy and implementation resources. The Alberta Chamber of Commerce is committed to helping businesses throughout Alberta quickly respond to and adapt to disruptions or unforeseen changes that impact operations, people, assets, or reputation. This includes providing detailed information on available provincial and federal resources for families and businesses during emergencies such as fires or floods. Additionally, the Chamber offers resources dedicated to managing and preventing cybercrime and community crime.
