We are seeking a skilled and reliable Crane Operator and Rigger to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in crane operation and rigging, with the ability to safely and efficiently move heavy loads and perform lifting operations. As part of our team, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes and rigging equipment, ensuring the safe and timely completion of projects.
Duties
- Operate a variety of cranes, including Carry deck’s and Picker Truck, to lift, move, and position loads in a variety of environments.
- Perform rigging tasks, including securing loads, using ropes, chains, slings, and other rigging equipment.
- Ensure all lifting equipment and rigging is in good working condition and complies with safety regulations.
- Coordinate with ground crew, supervisors, and other workers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to all local regulations and guidelines. Completion of site hazard assessments.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily crane operations and rigging activities.
Qualifications:
For Experienced Candidates:
- Valid Crane Operator Certification (OSHA, NCCCO, or equivalent).
- Valid Rigger Certification (if applicable).
- Proven experience in crane operation and rigging.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and equipment maintenance.

For Apprentices:
- A strong desire to learn and develop in the crane and rigging industry.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and on construction sites.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to follow safety procedures.
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus, but not required.

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
