Overview
The Shop/Inventory Manager is a fast-paced, skilled position that is responsible for managing the ordering, stock, and flow of materials from suppliers to jobsite, customers, and regular inventory stock. Responsible for a clean safe work environment inside shop and outside in yard.
Key Accountabilities:
Inventory Purchasing – Must be able to properly allocate all inventory for ongoing projects, customer pick-up and stock orders.
Must have a good knowledge of stock history and set up minimum and maximum for inventory re-stocking.
Customer Service – Maintain a high level of customer service and be able to assist with counter sales to minimize the amount of time a customer is waiting for service.
Ideal Education and Experience:
High School Graduate.

Forklift Training
Skid Steer Training
Electrical parts and installation knowledge is not required but prior electrical knowledge is considered an asset.
Competencies:
Self-motivated and willing to adapt to demanding circumstances or customer needs. Able to work quickly and effectively with little supervision.
Must be experienced with computers systems, accounting systems, purchase orders and high-level record keeping skills are a must. Must also be competent with Microsoft excel spreadsheets commonly used for record keeping of inventory items.
Strong problem-solving skills and able to move forward under pressure or push back from suppliers, employees, and customers to meet project deadlines.
Must be physically able to lift 50lbs, have high level organization skills and good communication skills.

Delivery of parts, tools, and equipment in the most effective and safest way.
Engagement:
Walk-in customer engagement is necessary and may be required for counter parts sales help as situations require counter assistance. Relationship building with suppliers a

Effective communication for internal and external customer base. Able to effectively manage information and records for flow of inventory and parts.

Required Licenses:
Minimum Class 5 Drivers License – Clean drivers abstract.
Forklift Training.
Skid Steer Training
Load Securement.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 per week
