- Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in a fast-moving environment.
- The ability to prioritize tasks to ensure smooth operation, and eliminate down-time, in a facility that’s always in motion.
- A strong mechanical aptitude.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Excellent physical condition, able to climb, crawl and work in confined spaces and use SCBA equipment effectively (must be able to pass functional abilities test)
- Tolerance for working in a cold environment, up to -20 C.
- Bonus points for previous experience in an automated warehouse environment
Some of what this position entails:
- Managing the electronic Material Flow Control System (MFCS)
- Safely operating automated MHE equipment (such as automated cranes and conveyers), via computer programs, and at times manually, in a state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled facility.
- Monitoring consistent pallet flow, ensuring problems that interrupt automated flow are addressed by physically investigating and taking corrective action.
- Troubleshooting and solving operational and mechanical challenges as they arise.
- Working collaboratively with a team that values safety, efficiency and innovation.
- Climbing ladders up to 130ft (with safety harness).
- Mechanical adjustments and/or corrections.

Available to work days or nights, 12 hour rotating shifts (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off) Schedule includes working every 2nd weekend.
