Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and providing exceptional service to enhance the dining experience.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Operate the Micros POS system for order entry and payment processing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling practices.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of food service during busy periods.
  • Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and guests.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred, with a focus on bartending or serving roles.
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage preparation, and food safety practices.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience for guests.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus but not mandatory.
