Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the site team to deliver services that meet customer requirements within agreed budget parameters.
  • Oversee the Management team responsible for daily site operations, ensuring performance consistently exceeds key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Embed company culture and values across the site, fostering a positive and proactive Health & Safety environment.
  • Direct operational activities in line with company policies, ensuring standards are clearly communicated, understood, and consistently achieved.
  • Monitor and review local KPI performance, sharing insights internally and engaging teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Control site expenditure with a strong focus on payroll management, proactively addressing any adverse budget variances.
  • Structure and lead effective communication processes, including daily team briefings and shift handovers.
  • Identify, communicate, and escalate process deviations, quality concerns, service deficiencies, or operational risks to relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate and timely internal reports as required by the Management Team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in site or operations management within a fast-paced environment of 10 years or more.
  • Expertise in automated warehousing or the food industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Solid financial acumen, including budget and payroll control.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A strong commitment to Health & Safety and continuous improvement.
