Position Summary
The Case Manager position will be responsible for delivering services under the Reaching Home: Canada’s Homelessness Strategy Project funded by the Rural Development Network and Government of Canada. The case manager will provide individualized, evidence-based, wrap-around support for those who are housing insecure or precariously housed across the BEW FCSS service area.
Education and Qualifications
- Education and experience in human services related field.
- Active or eligible registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers or the Child and Youth Care Association of Alberta is an asset.
- A solid understanding of issues related to housing insecurity and homelessness.
Responsibilities
- Works with clients to access and maintain housing and prevent homelessness.
- Connects clients to intervention services, income and financial assistance, employment, job training and community integration services.
- Supports clients to navigate mental health and addiction services.
- Collaborates with community partners to streamline response and services.
- Builds relationships with higher risk populations (2SLGBTQIA+, women and children, Low German Mennonites, seniors, Indigenous and newcomers).

- Holds a valid driver’s license.
