We are seeking a highly motivated and client focused individual to join our team. This role is crucial to maintaining our high standards, while ensuring our business continues to expand and progress.

Responsibilities:

• Gain a strong understanding of the niche market we’re in and the products we offer
• Become the ‘Go To’ for our existing client base regarding the customization of our gates
• Contribute to the management team’s strategic planning
• Evaluate and explain how our products fit with the customers’ requirements based on site conditions and open channel flow hydraulic considerations
• Develop an understanding of our quoting system and the information required to produce an accurate quote
• Familiarize yourself with our existing client base and how we customize our products to suit their needs
• Attend conferences and trade shows
• Some travel throughout Canada & the U.S.

Requirements:

• Engineering experience specific to Open Channel Hydraulics
• Strong ability to grasp engineering concepts specific to the water resource management industry
• Desire to work in a role where you are responsible to see ideas through to completion
• Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to collect the information required to understand the clients’ needs
• Self-motivated with a professional and positive attitude
• High attention to detail, organization and time management skills
• High integrity and ability to build trust
• Strong computer proficiency with willingness to learn new programs
• Ability to travel into the U.S. (valid passport)
• Valid Class 5 license and reliable vehicle to use for work
• Ability to drive and walk in rural and outdoor elements and conditions including construction sites
