JOB SUMMARY
Welders have the responsibility to weld a variety of custom frame orders including truck bodies, trailers, enclosures, and mobile oilfield equipment. Welders must have experience in MIG welding processes, the ability to read blueprints, and have working knowledge in operating fabricating equipment such as a brake and shear. Good work habits, keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills are required for this position.

LOCATION
Our Coaldale, AB plant is located just off highway 3 and is an easy commute from Lethbridge or Taber. We roughly have 140 employees and are continuing to expand.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ability to interpret drawings & weld symbols
· Fabricate metal assemblies & weldments
· Fabricate running gear / flat decks / skids
· Fabricate Enclosure frames / skids within ITB and CWB scope
· Follow specific welding specifications
· Mount van bodies, tail lifts, and various components
GENERAL
· Know and apply company safety rules, policies, and relevant occupational health and safety legislation
· Work in a professional and ethical manner
· Use of hand, power and air tools safely and as required
· Provide support for other departments as necessary
· Properly fill out daily time sheets and target hour sheets
· Develop effective working relationships with co-workers and supervisors, always treating others with respect
· Be receptive to a changing environment and circumstances
· Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
· Experience building subframes for trailers
· Brake and Shear experience considered an asset
· Strong knowledge of ITB’s products is an asset
Education
· Certified Welding Journeyman in Alberta or Interprovincial is an asset, however training will be provided
· CWB Certification is an asset
WORKING HOURS
· Permanent Full-Time
· Core hours are from 7:00am – 3:30pm

Candidate proficiency is taken into consideration when determining starting wage. Apprentices will be pro-rated based on our journeyman rate.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $26.00-$34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Licence/Certification:
